We have lived in the beautiful and very friendly village of Weare Giffard for almost 25 years now and have been privileged enough to raise our children here. We feel that we have the best of both worlds, surrounded by glorious countryside and ancient woodlands yet just 15 minutes from some of the most stunning beaches and glorious coastline in the UK!
Weare Cottage was originally our family home but as our sons grew and their numerous friends descended we decided to upsize a little and undertook a new build next door to the cottage. We moved across in November 2019 and then began the extensive renovation of the cottage, ready to accept our first guests in August 2020.
We love being able to share our love for this area with our guests and are always happy to give advice and recommendations on where to eat and drink or which are the best beaches to visit, often with a little insider knowledge to avoid the tourist hold ups! We’re equally happy to let our guests get on with their holiday without us, in the knowledge that we’re on hand should they need anything…
