We have just returned from a great stay at Weare Cottage. It’s perfectly located to be an excellent base from which to explore the area. We walked round to the Cyder Presse pub for Sunday lunch and had a very nice evening meal there too.
Wendy is a generous and thoughtful host who has gone to great lengths to provide everything you might need during your stay. The beds are lovely and comfortable and our 2 year old Granddaughter loved playing with all the toys and books provided in the cottage.
We would love to stay there again if we return to the area.

We had a wonderful stay at Weare cottage; it’s in a beautiful location with lots to do on the doorstep. It is very peaceful and you can just hear birdsong and occasionally the local peacock in the background but not much else! The cottage is lovely and very well equipped, it is also very well suited to families with young children. Wendy was a very helpful, friendly and pro-active host and provided lots of local recommendations. The welcome basket was very thoughtful and much appreciated. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Wendy is an outstanding host. Her place is beautiful and so well looked after – we all loved it. She had so many thoughtful touches across the entire accomodation. The place was spotless when we checked in and was very well equipped. She was very responsive while also giving us privacy – a rare combination! The cottage is within easy driving distance of many beautiful spots in North Devon, such that we were spoilt for choice. Would highly, highly, recommend this place. We certainly intend to go back!

We were a three generation family down for a get together with other family members. The house suited our needs perfectly and Wendy went the extra mile to make sure our young grandchildren could feel as ‘at home’ as possible which made us all feel very welcome.

We had a fantastic stay at Wendy’s, it exceeded all of our expectations. Every room was even better than the photos; it was tidy and modern but still felt like home. We really appreciated all the small touches that make the big differences. Wendy had given us so many extra’s and gone above and beyond, so much more so than other hosts that we have stayed with. Wendy checked in and made sure we were ok as well as being available if we needed anything at all. She also provided early check in and a late check out to help make our stay even better, she’s been the most supportive host we’ve had yet.

What an incredible stay! Perfectly clean, perfectly set up with everything you could ever need. Wonderful toys for the children and everything we could want for cooking too. And in a fab area with so much to do! We loved it!

A fabulous homely, comfortable, immaculately presented home. The host was friendly, efficient and welcoming. Everything we could have wanted and much more. The beautiful countryside, peaceful surroundings, convenient location and amazing bed made it the perfect space for our break. Near enough to amenities to be practical, far enough from roads and noise to feel totally relaxed. Would recommend for couples and families.

Fantastic! Home from home and more…with added ambience, great scenery and The Big Sheep resort 20 mins away. What more could you want for 2 kids under 4! We will definitely be visiting again.

We had a wonderful stay at Wendy’s house. The house is very cosy and very nicely furnished. You don’t want to go any further! Perfect location and great walks.
There are many beautiful excursion destinations nearby and you can end the evening in the pub around the corner. The house really has everything you could need, and Wendy is a great host.

My 3 fantastic friends surprised me by booking 2 nights in this beautiful cottage for my big birthday. Wendy you are the perfect host, making sure we had everything we needed and more. The cottage is immaculate with everything you need for a completely relaxing stay.
We all wanted to stay longer and would quite happily live in this gorgeous cottage!
We ate one night at the local pub and the locals, landlady and landlord, were all so friendly and welcoming and the food was delicious.
This cottage is perfectly positioned to explore North Devon; we ventured out to Appledore, Croyde and Saunton Sands. Hopefully we will be back to visit one day.
