The Tarka Trail walking and cycling route can be found at the end of the village, a great day out for all ages allowing you to cycle along to the beach for lunch with a good choice of great little cafés, pubs and restaurants.
The nearest shops are just 5 minutes away in Torrington. These include fabulous local butchers, bakers, greengrocers, chemist, Co-Op, Lidl and M&S Simply food. Most other major supermarkets are within a 10 minute drive and Bideford has a great selection of small independent shops, well worth a browse, plus a great modern art gallery with a French café.
